Inspiration: Funky & Graphic Kiddo Space
Well hello there!
Long time no blog, I know, I know. I've been hustling to keep up with the many moving parts to owning a biz, chasing after 2 little ones, keeping a small menagerie alive, etc etc. But I have SO MANY fun ideas I want to share here so am excited to get back to it.
I love a good inspiration board and have WAYYY to much fun pulling them together so here ya go! This Funky & Graphic Kiddo Space is inspired by our star artist and great friend Justine Rubin. Justine is one of those creative peeps whose art seeps into every aspect of her life. Her house is no exception-it is filled with fun art, great design, vintage finds, and quirky, unexpected touches everywhere. Check out their previous home over on HGTV for an idea of just what I mean. Fun, right?
For this little board I started with our "Off the Coast" and "Elephant Afternoon" on canvas and pulled great finds from the likes of Jonathan Adler, blabla, Oeuf, Dwell Studio, ducduc, Ferm Living, Frazier & Wing, and more to create a fun and funky space. The brilliant thing about bright colors and strong, graphic design elements is that done well they mix beautifully, are gender neutral, and can easily grow with your child. Oh, and of course they work well for grownups too. So-don't be afraid to go bold!
What's inspiring your spaces these days?
*bonus* Most of these goodies can be found over at Rosenberry Rooms-one of very favorite retailers!
